Forgot your password? Reset it

If you forget your password, you get a link by email to set a new one. The link works only once and expires quickly. Once you've reset it, every device signed in to this account is signed out.

Steps

  1. On the sign-in page, click “Forgot password?”.
  2. Enter your “Email address”, then click “Send reset link”.
  3. The screen shows “Request received”. Bút Nghiên always shows this message so it doesn't reveal which emails have an account; if your email has an account, the email arrives within a few minutes.
  4. Open the email (check the spam folder too) and click the link. The “Reset password” page opens.
  5. Enter a “New password” (at least 8 characters) and “Confirm new password”, then click “Reset password”.
  6. When you see “Password reset”, click “Go to sign in” and sign in with your new password.

Common errors and how to fix them

  • “The password reset link is invalid or has expired. Please request a new link.” → click “Request a new link” and start over.
  • “Passwords don't match.” → type the same password in both boxes.
  • “The new password must be at least 8 characters.” → choose a longer password.
  • “Couldn't reset the password. Please try again.” → check your internet connection, then click again.
  • Each link works only once. If you clicked send several times, use the link in the most recent email.
  • If your teacher created your account (by importing a student list): you get an invitation email, and the link opens the “Activate account” page. Set a password (at least 8 characters) and click “Activate account”; when you see “Account activated”, sign in with your email and the password you just created. The invitation link is valid for 7 days.
  • If the invitation link has expired or the email never arrived: use “Forgot password?” with that same email to get a new link. Don't sign up again with the email your teacher already used.
